With the World Spotlight on Eugene, Comcast Business Powers Two-Week Eugene Riverfront Festival

Eugene Riverfront Festival

For two weeks in July, the world stage set its eyes on “Track Town USA,” Eugene, Oregon, for the World Athletics Championships, hosted on US soil for the first time. During the Championships, Comcast Business teamed up with Revere Event Experience to host the Eugene Riverfront Festival.

The two-week Festival offered free viewing of the athletic events, live music daily, food carts, 18 taps of local beer, zip lines, a children’s village, and a community marketplace.

Comcast Business was proud to power the two-week Festival, produced by Revere Event Experience, providing free high-speed internet to vendors and nearly 5,000 festival goers, and powering a 35-foot video wall for the fans who couldn’t get into Hayward Field to watch the competition in person.

Rikki Wright, director of sales and marketing for Comcast Business Oregon/SW Washington described the Festival as a huge success. “Our brand was everywhere. We flawlessly powered the largest event to ever come to Eugene and received accolades from our many partners on the initiative.”
