Most customers will see a speed increase of 30-40 percent, but it will vary based on your current agreement with us. To make sure you’re getting these new speeds, you simply need to re-start your modem when we notify you that the new speed is available. We’ll also notify you if you need to upgrade your leased modems — at no additional charge — to receive the increased speeds.

This marks the 17th time in 17 years we’ve increased speeds. Why do we do it? To change the internet experience for millions of customers by continually providing faster, more reliable internet and in home Wi-Fi. And that’s not all – we also double the capacity of our network at least every two years.
