Rebecca Brown, Director of Community Investment for Comcast Oregon/SW Washington, was brought in as “the closer” at The Arc of Lane County’s recent fundraising breakfast as they revealed plans for a $2 million Arc Park. The park in Springfield, Oregon will be fully accessible and inclusive, providing people of all ages and all abilities the freedom and safety to play together.

Comcast has already contributed $50,000 to the development of the park over the past two years.  And more than 400 Comcasters and community volunteers have participated in Cares Day projects to get the park started, fencing the entire perimeter in 2017 and constructing a toddler playground in 2018.

“The Arc Park connects people of every age and every ability to new possibilities and endless fun,” said Brown.  “We are excited to be a part of this community-building project and look forward to working together towards a brighter future.”
