If your idea of a great day is playing with dogs, imagine how good Natasha Busse’s life is as the owner of Dogville, a doggy daycare center in Southwest Portland. An immigrant from Brazil, she takes care of almost 100 dogs daily between her two locations. Busse is a recent Comcast RISE recipient, receiving a technology makeover and a year’s free Comcast Business services to support her small four-legged business.
The pandemic drove many people to adopt furry friends so the need for doggy daycare increased exponentially and business has been great, but Busse says it’s been very difficult to find employees and pay them a salary that will retain them. “This Comcast RISE award will make a big, big difference for my business,” she says.
