Last weekend, we celebrated our first residential customer and installation in Mt. Angel, Oregon, which included a special customer appreciation ceremony for retired US Army Colonel, Jerry Lauzon and his wife Connie. They were treated to goodies including a presentation of a new American flag courtesy of Comcast’s VetNet ERG members. VetNet is a Comcast Veteran-focused Employee Resource Group dedicated to sustaining our company’s Veterans & active military & organizing community service.

This month, we completed the initial phase of our expansion to bring the smart, fast, reliable fiber-rich Xfinity 10G Network to 700 homes and businesses in Mt. Angel, Oregon.

During the front porch celebration, Jerry (aka The Colonel) shouted out to a neighbor, “Look at my new Xfinity friends! I’m excited, they’re the best!”  After just a short time with The Colonel, you can tell why he is and has been a popular member of the Mount Angel community for over thirty years.
