Last evening (September 28), the results of the Oregonian’s 7th annual Top Places to Work was announced and we are thrilled to announce that Comcast was named #2 out of all large businesses in Oregon and Southwest Washington! Equally important, out of the entire list of small, mid- and large sized companies recognized, Comcast was recognized as having the top employee communications program.
A group of Comcast employees were present at the event where the results were announced by the Oregonian. The excitement of getting this recognition was not lost on anyone, we’ve all known that Comcast is a great place to work now the rest of Oregon and Southwest Washington knows as well. What an evening!
The results came from independent, anonymous surveys that were sent to Comcast employees from The Oregonian some months ago.
“Delivering a world-class employee experience only works when you have world-class employees to help carry out the mission,” said Human Resources Vice-President Greg Geshel. “To all of our employees in the region, thank you for making this a great place to work!” added Regional Senior Vice-President Rodrigo Lopez.
