Comcast Makes Significant Progress Restoring Service in Oregon and SW Washington

January 22 Update — Our dedicated team of technicians have been able to safely access most of the impacted areas and we’re happy to report in the last 48 hours we’ve made great progress. Approximately 75 percent of those who lost Xfinity, and, or Comcast Business services are now back online. As a reminder, in some situations, you may have power back but not your Comcast Services because the electricity supply that powers our network has not been restored outside the immediate area.

In those areas, our technicians are working alongside utility crews as they continue to fix downed power lines and replace poles. Hundreds of Comcast technicians – supported by field personnel throughout Oregon and Washington and additional assistance from our business partners – continue to work around the clock to repair the remaining damages to our network and restore service. Repairs may take longer in specific locations because Comcast is not provided access to utility poles or is restricted from sites due to ongoing safety concerns.

We know service interruptions can be disruptive, and we will offer proactive credits to customers who have experienced a prolonged service interruption following power restoration. Comcast is committed to helping our neighbors and communities in Oregon and Southwest Washington reconnect to our network as soon as possible.
